Job Description

The Store Room Clerk is responsible for issuing parts and supplies to company personnel and receiving and completing inventory of incoming materials. The opening remaining is on 1st Shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Issues parts to maintenance, production, and personnel. Maintains and computes all required paperwork and/or reports. Stores items being received in proper location and maintains inventory. Checks packing slips of material received against purchase orders and visually received goods for description, quantity, and quality. Ensures that inventory count and housekeeping are maintained in the out buildings used by the Store Room. Operates fork truck and scale house, when required.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a basic working knowledge of computer applications, such as being comfortable browsing the internet from a personal computer.
