Wear the red vest. We'll teach you the rest. White's is an independently owned Ace store, run by the White family since 1977. In all three of our stores, we greet customers right away, ask what they're working on, and stay with them until they have a real answer. What you'll do You keep the store running, in the backroom and out front. Unload and put away freight, keep the backroom organized, and help customers load up at the drive-thru. Grill assembly, propane filling, and assist with customer deliveries. You still wear the red vest: when a customer stops you, stop, ask what they're working on, and get them to the right teammate. Who this work suits This work keeps you moving, some of it outdoors, and you'll work with customers as well as merchandise. We'll teach you our products and how to work safely. 50 lbs. lifting requirement. Grill Assembly. Propane filling. Forklift operations. You'll see customers every shift. If you'd rather work entirely behind the scenes, this role probably isn't the right match. Time off that grows with you. One week of paid vacation after 60 days, two weeks at three years, three weeks at five. Spring is our busiest season, so vacations aren't scheduled April 10 to June 15.
