Feed Reports to: Raber Location Manager Summary Responsible for contact with customers in the specified territory, assist with the daily duties and maintenance of margins. Establish customer relations through positive customer service and assists in developing a positive working environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Provide Excellent Customer Service Exhibit good customer relation skills and enthusiasm. Assist with customer billing and grain receipts at the location. Maintain a desirable appearance of store and work area in the store Work with Location Managers to maintain margins. Responsible for inventory and pricing of products associated with farm supply, lawn and garden, and feed. Work with all Department Managers to discuss promotions, pricing, and recommendations. Handle customer complaints directly. Discuss and assist in the production problems of all customers. Call on existing and prospective customers to build business and increase the levels of commitment to our customers with effort to grow new customer base. Administer credit policy within company credit policy. Exhibit sufficient computer technology skills. Responsible to assist in the regular inventory by making the list, counting where needed, and extending the prices for all items. Inspect grain, ingredients, and other products as delivered to the location. Maintain quality control levels of products that are marketed and delivered. Oversee feed sales and product inventory to meet the customer needs while maintaining margin. Performs other activities as directed by the company managers. Customer Service Customers are the key to our success as a business. All customers should always be greeted with a friendly attitude and as quickly as possible by every employee. Phone calls should be answered promptly and courteously. Employees should make every effort to fill a customer's needs while remembering that we must remain a profitable company. Product should never leave the premises without proper billing and loading procedures as set by the branch. Employees are responsible to supply correct products, accurate mixes, deliveries, etc. to each customer. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has limited supervisory responsibilities. Position is responsible to see that inventory is ordered, stored and handled within proper procedures. Position is also responsible to see that proper feed handling procedures are followed with authority to manage the situation.
