General description:

Here at Frankie D's Flea Market, we strive to create a welcoming environment for both employees and customers. We are a small, family-owned business with two locations in Muncie! As a sales associate, you will be responsible for taking payments, stocking shelves, and providing friendly customer service. In addition, we are looking for individuals that enjoy thrift shopping and have a general knowledge of antique stores. As a small business, we enjoy building strong and positive relationships with our employees. Bonus pay is offered each year to those who excel in their duties.

Detailed breakdown of responsibilities:

As an employee of our company, you will be expected to:

• Facilitate both cash and card transactions
• Stock shelves
• Perform visual merchandising duties (creating displays and signage, re-organizing product, etc.)
• Price product
• Perform cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, etc.)
• Provide friendly customer service (greeting guests, answering questions, providing solutions to presented issues, etc.)
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Have a positive attitude Required qualifications: To work at Frankie D's Flea Market, you must :
• Be at least eighteen years of age
• Be willing to work at either one of our Muncie locations (3430 N Broadway Ave.

• Have the ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull and move objects up to 75 pounds. Other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable at a standard retail store.
• Have open availability on weekends (11am-6pm)
• Be available to work shifts starting at 11am during the week Preferred qualifications: These are not required, but we would prefer applicants who:
• Have a general knowledge of thrift shops and/or antique malls
