Thrift Store Clerk The Arc of LaGrange County Shipshewana, Indiana We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Thrift Store Clerk to join our team at The Arc of LaGrange County. As a Thrift Store Clerk, you will provide exceptional customer service, operate cash registers, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide friendly service to customers, answering questions and assisting with purchases Operate cash register and handle cash, credit card transactions, and count change Sort and clean donations, including removing price tags from donated items Straighten all household items, pictures, clothing, etc. throughout the day and especially before leaving the store at night Keep all merchandise in appropriate sections and rotate merchandise according to seasons Look for ways to improve processes and efficiencies Perform miscellaneous tasks, including cleaning the employee break room, bathrooms, and emptying trash cans Ensure completion of other duties assigned on the

Daily Planner Form Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent (preferred) Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Availability to work days, weekends, and occasional holidays
