Job Description
Linn Valley Lakes Property Owners Association Linn Valley Lakes is seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Guard House team. As the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors, our Guard House Attendants play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for everyone entering the community. To provide excellent service and promote a healthy work-life balance, we are seeking multiple attendants to fill a variety of shifts, including shorter four-hour shifts. Position Summary The Guard House Attendant is responsible for monitoring access to Linn Valley Lakes while providing exceptional customer service to members and guests. This position requires attentiveness, professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while following established Guard House policies and procedures. There may also be opportunities for cross-training as a backup Office Assistant in the POA Office for qualified individuals interested in expanding their skills and providing additional support to the organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet all members, guests, and visitors with a friendly smile, wave, and welcoming attitude. Monitor access to the community by following all established Guard House procedures. Remain alert and attentive throughout each shift while maintaining a professional appearance and minimizing distractions. Assist with the sale of community service items such as ice, maps, and other products. Provide campers, members, and guests with directions, information, and assistance. Issue recreational equipment in accordance with established procedures. Secure the Laundry Facilities during designated evening shifts. Maintain a clean and organized Guard House, including light housekeeping, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash from the surrounding area. Accurately handle cash transactions and balance receipts at shift changes. Communicate professionally and courteously with members, guests, coworkers, and management. Perform other duties as assigned.
