Sales Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member Position Overview Lori Ann Spachek State Farm is hiring a full-time Sales Representative in Pittsburg, KS. This is a sales seat. You will own a pipeline, bring in new business, and earn base pay plus uncapped commission on every policy you write — from brand-new customers you bring in and from sales within our existing book of business. If you want your work to be rewarded, this is the job where you see it in your paycheck. Responsibilities Grow the agency through new business acquisition while cross-selling within the existing book of business Prospect daily and develop new business through outbound calls, referrals, and warm follow-ups Set appointments and close new business through the sales process Own your pipeline and keep your activity and customer records current in the agency system Hit — and beat — weekly and monthly sales targets Round out existing customer accounts by identifying coverage gaps and cross-selling during reviews Support existing customers with policy, billing, and coverage questions as they come up Qualifications Sales experience preferred — insurance experience is not required, and we will train the right person on the products Strong phone presence — you are comfortable picking up the phone, asking for the sale, and hearing no Self-motivated and competitive — you set your own pace and measure yourself against a number Outgoing and persuasive — you build rapport quickly and enjoy meeting new people Organized enough to keep a full pipeline moving, with strong follow-through Motivated by commission and comfortable being measured on results Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses Benefits Base salary plus uncapped performance-based commission Clear career advancement paths

Pay Range:
$38,000-$48,000 per year Top performers exceed this range. This is base salary plus commissions and bonuses, and there is no cap on what you can earn — your income grows with everything you write. This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Qualifications to be employees of a State Farm agent are established by each independent contractor agent.
