Duties Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance with product selections. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions swiftly and handle cash, credit, or debit payments with proper cash handling procedures Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are properly rotated and labeled Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and communicating low-stock items to management Promote sales through upselling techniques and suggest complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to alcohol sales, including verifying IDs and adhering to age restrictions Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders over the phone Experience Previous retail experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or specialty beverage shops Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team environments Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is highly desirable Bilingual abilities are advantageous to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and professional phone etiquette Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Experience in product demos, merchandising, stocking, and upselling techniques will set you apart Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service while growing your retail career.
