Sales Associate:
The store is open Wednesday through Saturday 9am-3:30pm. Friday and Saturday availability is a must. Starts at $15/hr. To apply, please send your resume to jobs@hadleypottery.com ????
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service in the sales room
- Assist customers with purchases, questions, and product recommendations
- Operate Shopify POS system and process transactions accurately
- Answer customer inquiries via phone and email professionally and promptly
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming retail space
- Assist with inventory management and restocking sales floor items
- Support in-store events, pop-ups, and community-oriented weekends
- Represent the Hadley Pottery brand in a positive and professional manner
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Retail and customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using technology including Shopify POS, email, and basic computer systems
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift pottery boxes when needed
- Interest in local community, art, handmade goods, and small businesses is a plus
