Support open-to-buy planning by analyzing stock levels, sales trends, and sourcing opportunities to optimize inventory turnover. Source new products and establish public relations with suppliers, vendors, and community partners to enhance product offerings. Handle retail transactions accurately at the cash register, including cash handling, cashiering, and retail math calculations. Maintain stock levels through stocking duties, merchandising displays, and ensuring retail store product knowledge is up-to-date. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store environments with familiarity in POS systems and cashiering procedures. Supervising experience preferred; capable of overseeing stock management and team coordination when needed. Strong communication skills in bilingual settings are a plus; ability to clearly convey product features and store policies. Demonstrated ability in product demos, upselling techniques, and retail math calculations for accurate transactions. Knowledge of merchandising principles, stock stocking procedures, and retail store product knowledge essential for success. Experience with cash register operations, cash drawer handling, and retail sales transactions required. Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally over the phone or in person. Basic math skills necessary for daily cash handling tasks; familiarity with POS systems advantageous. Previous experience in sourcing products or managing consignment inventory is highly desirable.
