Overview :

We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budtenders to join our team at Nova Farms. As a Budtender, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, guiding customers through their product selections, and ensuring a positive and educational experience. You will stay up to date with cannabis industry trends and regulations and maintain a professional and welcoming environment. This key customer service representative is the foundation of the Nova Farms experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations. Maintain an in-depth understanding of all products sold, including cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and consumption methods. Champion Nova-house brands and products. Adhere to all state and local regulations, including verifying customer age and daily purchase limits. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store operations. Assist with inventory tasks, including stocking shelves, labeling products, and tracking inventory levels. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and regulatory changes through ongoing training and research. Contribute to personal and team KPI goals, including cart size and customer retention. Check IDs and greet people in a friendly and positive manner. Prioritize hospitality and connection in all interactions.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older.

Experience:

1-2 years of retail experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment. Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and other retail technologies. Basic knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products. Previous experience in a customer-facing role. High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Manual Dexterity:

Ability to handle, package, and label products with precision.
