Responsibilities involve assisting customers in our retail store as well as working on the day-to-day duties necessary to operate the store. Qualified candidates must be committed to assisting the team, helping our customers accomplish their goals and growing the retail/commercial business through salesmanship. Our ideal candidate possesses a positive professional attitude, strong organizational skills and loves to be active in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail experience is required . Experience in the paint and/or hardware industry in preferred but we will train qualified candidates. Duties include : Provide excellent customer service through salesmanship, product advice & positive interaction. Build lasting relationships with our customers. Operate the cash register/computer system for all retail/commercial transactions Store ordering, replenishment and stocking of merchandise for the sales floor Maintain the store's visual appearance, cleanliness and safety. Sorting and staging of merchandise received at the store. Loading & Unloading daily deliveries inside and outside of the building. Working with management to grow the business.

Responsibilities include:

Ability to lift, move and carry items in excess of 25lbs up to 75lbs. Ability to work a flexible schedule within the hours our store is open for business. A strong work ethic and ability to contribute to a team environment. A commitment to outstanding customer service. Ability to implement company procedures & policies. Ability to communicate clearly with store personnel and our customers. Read, Write and Understand the English language Ability to operate store equipment and perform basic maintenance on such. Physically able to stand for prolonged periods and/or move about the entire store without assistance. Understanding of basic math skills and knowledge of units of measurement.
