Position Information Title Work Study Think Tank Lab Tech
Position Description The BSU Think Tank at Bridgewater State University is an on-campus makerspace and innovation hub. It provides students, faculty, and the local community with access to advanced technologies, tools, collaborative workspace, and educational programming. The student selected in this role will learn how to use and operate Maker Space technologies including 3D printers, microcontrollers, robots, small electronics, and prototyping machines. You will be expected to work for at least 10 hours a week during the academic year. After completing an intensive learning period, duties will include:
mentoring and tutoring other students
staffing and organizing a Maker Space site
co-leading workshops and tutorials
constructing demonstrations.
