Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle food safety and food handling procedures, ensuring all products meet health standards. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and dining spaces, to uphold hygiene standards. Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service. Support food preparation tasks like assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed during busy hours. Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions and giving correct change with basic math skills. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Good time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
