We are hiring a Sales and Service Representative in Halethorpe, MD who enjoys variety — helping existing customers with their policies one hour and winning a brand-new customer the next — and who wants to own those relationships for the long haul. Candidates who are fluent or proficient in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Serve as the customer's point of contact for quotes, coverage changes, billing questions, and policy reviews Handle policy questions, billing inquiries, and coverage changes accurately Serve Spanish

  • and English-speaking customers clearly and accurately Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and customer records in the agency system Meet weekly and monthly sales and service goals Round out existing customer accounts by identifying coverage gaps and cross-selling during reviews Develop new business through outbound calls, referrals, and warm follow-ups You Will Do Well Here If You Keep going after a no — most policies are written on the third or fourth contact Want to be measured on quotes written and policies bound Like knowing exactly where you stand against a number every week This Probably Is Not Your Role If You Are uncomfortable talking about money or asking for the sale Are looking for a role where someone else brings you the business Qualifications Prior sales, retail, or customer-facing experience preferred — insurance training and licensing provided Fluent or proficient in Spanish and English, preferred Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through Willingness to obtain required insurance licenses Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude Comfortable balancing sales goals with day-to-day customer service Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication Benefits Base salary plus performance-based commission Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days) Paid company holidays Clear career advancement paths Pay range: $45,000•60,000 per year This range reflects expected total compensation—including base salary, commissions, and bonuses—when performance goals are met.

Base salary varies based on experience and licensing. Commissions are uncapped, and high performers regularly exceed this range. This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Qualifications to be employees of a State Farm agent are established by each independent contractor agent.
