Duties Greet customers warmly, listen actively to their gardening or landscaping needs, and recommend suitable products or solutions. Assist customers with plant identification, floral design ideas, and landscape maintenance tips to foster confidence and satisfaction. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management. Maintain well-stocked shelves by organizing merchandise, stocking new inventory, and ensuring attractive visual displays aligned with merchandising standards. Support outdoor work activities such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening tasks to ensure the store's outdoor areas are pristine and inviting. Provide excellent customer service through phone communication, answering inquiries about products or services promptly and professionally. Conduct retail math accurately for sales transactions, discounts, and inventory counts to uphold operational integrity. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work and gardening is essential. Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, or floral design will be highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role. Multilingual skills are a plus for engaging with diverse customer bases. Outdoor work experience in gardening or landscaping helps you excel in supporting our store's outdoor areas. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are vital for delivering exceptional service and collaborating with team members.
