Graul's Market and Wine & Spirit Shop is family-owned known for its exceptional service and a welcoming environment. The Wine & Spirit Shop is located next door to Graul's Markets. They have a full selection of the finest imported and domestic wines, beer, spirits. We are currently hiring a friendly and dependable Beer, Wine & Spirits Clerk to join our team. In this role, you'll help customers find the perfect drinks, promote our products through demos and upselling, and keep the sales floor organized and inviting.

•Must have reliable transportation, since we are NOT on the bus route or light rail lines

•Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes working on Saturdays.

BEER, WINE & SPIRIT SALES CLERK

Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting beer, wine, and spirits that meet their preferences and needs. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about different beverages and new arrivals. Maintain an attractive and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising and stocking activities. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and inventory management. Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Promote upselling by suggesting complementary products or premium options to boost sales. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and maintaining friendly communication. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales of beer, wine, spirits Strong knowledge of alcohol products, including brands, varieties, and proper serving practices. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math is essential. Ability to perform product demos and engage customers confidently while maintaining phone etiquette when needed.
