LEAD KEY HOLDER

Lewiston, Maine Medical Cannabis Dispensary is looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Budtender / Shift Lead Key Holder to join our team! This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time hours for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a strong knowledge of cannabis products, and is comfortable taking on additional responsibilities as a key holder and shift lead. Starting Pay $20.00 per hour Schedule Part-time with potential for full-time hours Evening and weekend availability is required Must be dependable and punctual Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is a plus Responsibilities As a Budtender / Shift Lead Key Holder, your responsibilities will include: Providing friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service Assisting customers with selecting cannabis products based on their needs and preferences Maintaining a strong working knowledge of our products, including flower, concentrates, vapes, edibles, and other cannabis products Accurately processing customer transactions through our POS system Verifying customer eligibility and identification in accordance with Maine cannabis regulations Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment Restocking and maintaining product displays Assisting with inventory counts and daily store operations Opening and/or closing the store as scheduled Handling key holder responsibilities and ensuring proper opening and closing procedures are followed Supervising the store and team during assigned shifts Addressing customer questions or concerns professionally Following all company policies, procedures, and applicable Maine laws and regulations Maintaining a professional and positive attitude while working as part of a team Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused Reliable, responsible, and punctual Comfortable working independently and making decisions when needed Professional and able to lead by example Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system Knowledgeable about cannabis products and the Maine medical cannabis industry Able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment Previous dispensary, cannabis, retail, or customer service experience is preferred Previous key holder or supervisory experience is a plus Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Must possess and maintain a valid Maine Registered Identification Card (RIC) required to work in a medical marijuana caregiver/dispensary setting Must be able to pass any required state/company background or eligibility requirements Must be available to work evenings and weekends Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform routine retail duties Must be willing to comply with all applicable Maine cannabis laws and company policies Location - Lewiston, Maine If you're passionate about cannabis, enjoy helping people, and are looking for an opportunity to take on additional responsibility within a growing dispensary, we'd love to hear from you!
