Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences Provide detailed product demonstrations and educate customers on different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and managing retail math calculations Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting inventory counts to ensure product availability Promote upselling opportunities by recommending complementary products and special offers to enhance customer satisfaction Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding cannabis sales, age verification, and store policies Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments Assist with merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that highlight featured products Work as well in our grow facilty, caring for plants as they go through the growth cycle. Trimming harvests as the plants become ready and preparing product for sale to customers. Skills Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions in a fast-paced environment Supervising experience or leadership skills to support team members when needed Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers clearly and confidently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, including cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, accessories, and related merchandise Experience with stocking, merchandising, and inventory management in retail or grocery settings Familiarity with cashiering procedures, cash drawer handling, and retail math calculations Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional customer interactions over the phone or via messaging platforms Previous experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is advantageous but not required Join us as a Budtender where your energy fuels memorable customer experiences!
