Part Time Retail Associate The Retail Associate is responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience and executing day-to-day operations at the Pot + Pan retail store. This includes opening and closing the store, POS transactions, inventory management, e-commerce fulfillment, and store upkeep. This forward-facing role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with customers, loves great products, and is resourceful, reliable, and organized. The ideal candidate is comfortable shifting between customer service, retail operations, and fulfillment within a dynamic & growing company. This role is often solo within the store, and you must be comfortable working alone without needing direct supervision. Retail employees are not permitted to be on their phones unless it is for a work-related task.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Operations & Customer Experience 1. Punctual for scheduled shifts 2. Reliably attends all shifts 3. Accurately operates the point-of-sale system and processes purchases, discounts, and other transactions according to company procedures. 4. Develops strong knowledge of all retail products, pricing, promotions, and new arrivals to provide a welcoming & engaging shopping experience. 5. Educates customers on products while maintaining responsible & compliant communication regarding infused products. 6. Supports daily opening & closing procedures and maintains a clean, organized, visually appealing, and customer-ready retail environment. 7. Supports seasonal resets, new product launches, promotions, events, workshops, and other in-store activations. 8. Proactively communicates store needs, customer feedback, product requests, and other relevant insights to the appropriate team members. 9. Accurately and comfortably handles cash with customers as well as close of day and week deposits Merchandising

+ Inventory 1. Maintains product displays according to company merchandising standards & creative direction. 2. Receives and stickers products and merchandise, organizes back stock, restocks sales floor, and maintains organized retail storage areas. 3. Supports regular inventory counts and communicates low-stock, out-of-stock, damaged, or incorrect inventory. 4. Assists with product tagging, pricing, signage, displays, and other retail presentation needs. Order Fulfillment 1. Accurately & efficiently picks, packs, and prepares e-commerce orders according to Pot

+ Pan's presentation, packaging, and shipping standards. 2. Prints shipping labels, organizes completed orders, and prepares shipments for carrier pickup. 3. Maintains fulfillment supplies and communicates inventory or replenishment needs. In addition to execution of their job functions at Pot

+ Pan, employees are valued for their skills in Leadership, Accountability, Reliability & Resourcefulness, Respect & Attitude, Time & Space Management Experience, Education and Skills Previous retail, customer service, e-commerce, marketing, or related experience preferred; Strong customer service skills and a genuine enjoyment of interacting with people; Friendly, approachable, professional, and comfortable initiating conversations with customers; Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized, visually appealing environment; Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Self-motivated and able to recognize what needs to be done without always requiring direct instruction; Comfortable learning and using Shopify, POS systems, shipping platforms, Google Workspace, and other digital tools; Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift between customer service, fulfillment, and other retail-related tasks throughout the day; Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team; Availability for occasional events, launches, and other retail needs outside of regular scheduled work hours may be required. Hours of Operation Schedule based on retail store operating hours and business needs, including weekend availability. Our current store hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10am - 5pm.
