Job Overview Weekend Shift! Saturday and Sunday are required work days. We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Marijuana Budtender to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers on product options, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience. This role requires a strong understanding of cannabis products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual abilities and previous retail or grocery store experience are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and sales effectiveness. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs, providing detailed product information and recommendations. Conduct product demos and educate customers on different strains, consumption methods, and effects to enhance their shopping experience. Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability. Upsell additional products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding cannabis sales and store policies. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professional phone etiquette and addressing customer inquiries promptly. Supervise or assist in supervising team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment. Experience Previous experience in retail sales, grocery stores, or similar customer service roles is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math is essential. Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, stock management, and cash handling is highly desirable. Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve diverse customer bases. Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team. Strong communication skills, friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide knowledgeable guidance are critical for success in this role.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
