The Fulfillment & Retail Operations Associate is a hybrid role responsible for supporting both wholesale fulfillment and day-to-day retail store operations. This position serves as an important link between inventory, wholesale customers, and the retail storefront, ensuring orders are processed accurately, products are properly stocked and represented, and customers receive a knowledgeable and positive experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to shift between administrative, inventory, fulfillment, and customer-facing responsibilities throughout the day. It is also vital that they are not prone to frequent mistakes. Key ResponsibilitiesWholesale Fulfillment & Order Management Manage incoming wholesale orders from receipt through completion. Accurately pick, organize, and prepare wholesale orders for delivery or pickup. Create and verify invoices, ensuring products, quantities, pricing, and customer information are accurate. Coordinate with sales, production, and inventory teams to resolve shortages, substitutions, or order discrepancies. Maintain organized records of fulfilled, pending, and completed wholesale orders. Help ensure wholesale orders are completed accurately and on schedule. Inventory Management Assist with maintaining accurate inventory across wholesale and retail operations. Monitor product quantities and communicate low-stock items, discrepancies, or inventory needs. Help reconcile physical inventory with internal inventory and POS systems. Assist with receiving, organizing, labeling, and properly storing incoming products. Maintain organized inventory and fulfillment areas to improve accuracy and efficiency. Retail Store Operations Manage routine ordering and restocking of products for the retail store. Monitor retail inventory levels and identify products requiring replenishment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date product menus, pricing, descriptions, and availability within Weedmaps and the store POS system. Ensure the retail floor, displays, menus, and product presentation remain organized and current. Identify inventory trends and communicate product needs or opportunities to management. Customer Service & Budtending Assist retail customers with product selection based on their preferences and needs. Provide knowledgeable, professional, and approachable customer service. Accurately complete retail transactions through the POS system. Maintain familiarity with available products, product categories, pricing, promotions, and new releases. Ensure all transactions and customer interactions follow company policies and applicable cannabis regulations. Additional Responsibilities Communicate clearly with sales, production, management, and other team members regarding inventory and order status. Help identify workflow improvements within fulfillment, inventory, and retail operations. Maintain clean and organized workspaces. Follow all company procedures and applicable state and local cannabis regulations. Perform additional operational or retail duties as needed. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and transition between fulfillment, administrative, inventory, and customer-facing work. Comfortable working with POS systems, digital menus, spreadsheets, and basic business software. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the larger team. Experience in retail, fulfillment, inventory management, cannabis, or customer service preferred. Ability to accurately handle inventory, invoices, cash, and transactional information. Must meet all state requirements for employment within the cannabis industry.
