SALES PROFESSIONAL

Ullman's Tea & Wellness Ullman's Tea & Wellness is looking for an exceptional Sales Professional who genuinely enjoys selling, has excellent manners and knows how to make customers feel welcome, understood and well served. We are looking for someone who is warm and personable while maintaining professional boundaries. You know when to approach a customer, when to give them space and when to re-approach. You ask thoughtful questions, make confident recommendations and actively look for opportunities to build and complete the sale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provide warm, polished and attentive customer service Actively sell and introduce appropriate additional or complementary products Learn our teas, skincare, clothing and other products well enough to make confident recommendations Prepare hot and iced teas and other tea-based beverages to go Keep the sales floor attractive, organized and ready for customers Contact customers when their orders are ready Prepare tea bags and assist with other store tasks Remain productive and organized during quieter periods

YOU KNOW HOW TO SWITCH GEARS

Our store changes pace throughout the day. You may be preparing tea bags, working on a display or making a tea to go when a customer walks in. You recognize when the priority changes, give the customer your full attention, complete the sale and then return to your previous task without losing track of it. You don't need to wait for someone to tell you what matters most. You notice.

You are: Naturally interested in products and enjoy learning Comfortable starting conversations and making recommendations Motivated to build sales rather than simply take orders Empathetic and socially perceptive Polished, professional and well-mannered Reliable, organized and attentive to detail Able to be personable without becoming overly familiar with customers Confident in your own personality while remaining open to feedback Comfortable switching between selling, tea preparation and other store responsibilities Previous specialty retail, café, barista, hospitality or other high-quality customer-facing experience is valued, but we are equally interested in exceptional potential. If you have the personality, professionalism, curiosity and natural instinct for sales, we are willing to train the right person. A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred, but not required.

COMPENSATION

Starting at $18

•22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Sales performance incentives may become available after approximately six months based on demonstrated performance and contribution to the store. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who combines exceptional customer service with genuine sales drive.
