Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable cannabis products based on their preferences and experience levels Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals, promotions, or complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing product inventory efficiently Handle retail store operations such as cashiering, processing returns, and managing retail math calculations for daily sales reports Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments, ensuring clear communication at all times Requirements Previous experience in retail sales, grocery store work, or similar customer-facing roles is preferred Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership opportunities Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette and active listening Knowledge of POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and reporting Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and inventory management Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock organization Experience in cannabis or related industries is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn about cannabis products is essential Join us as a Budtender and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing top-tier service while fostering responsible consumption.
