Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with exceptional service and expert guidance on our range of cannabis products. Your role will involve educating customers about different strains, products, and their effects while ensuring compliance with all regulations. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide an informative overview of available products. Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences through effective communication. Upsell products by understanding customer needs and suggesting complementary items. Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of cannabis products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions and inventory management. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure product availability. Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or taking orders. Educate customers on responsible consumption practices and legal regulations pertaining to cannabis use. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in the cannabis industry. Strong understanding of retail math to assist with inventory management and sales reporting. Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers, demonstrating patience and empathy. Experience supervising staff or working as part of a team is a plus. Familiarity with cannabis strains, products, and their effects is highly desirable.
