Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, offering detailed product demos when appropriate Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to maximize sales opportunities Maintain accurate stock levels through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability Educate customers on store policies, product effects, consumption methods, and legal regulations with clear communication skills Handle retail store operations such as cashiering, processing transactions, and managing cash register operations with professionalism Conduct product demos to showcase new items or educate customers about specific products' uses and benefits Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to cannabis sales and store policies at all times Skills Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions Supervising experience in a retail or customer service environment is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product details clearly and confidently Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Skilled in upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining customer satisfaction Knowledge of stock management, merchandising, and basic math for retail operations Experience in grocery or retail store environments is beneficial for understanding fast-paced sales floors Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately, including cash handling and cash drawer balancing Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor Join us in creating an engaging shopping environment where knowledge meets enthusiasm!
