Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product selections, offering detailed product demos and recommendations based on their preferences Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products to maximize visual appeal Conduct product demos to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Upsell related products to increase sales and meet store targets while maintaining a friendly, non-pushy approach Handle cash register operations accurately, including balancing cash drawers and processing returns or exchanges Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to safety and compliance standards Communicate effectively with team members and customers using professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills Experience Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or specialty retail environments such as cannabis or health & wellness stores Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings and customer interactions Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Experience in product demonstrations, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies Strong communication skills with an emphasis on excellent phone etiquette and customer engagement Knowledge of cannabis products or related industry experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential Join us at Exotics Cannabis Co. where your enthusiasm fuels our success!
