Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Budtender, where you will be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for customers exploring our premium cannabis products. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help customers make informed choices, enhance their experience, and foster a welcoming environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine retail skills with industry-specific knowledge, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. As a vital part of our team, you will promote responsible consumption while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, lively setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide personalized product recommendations based on preferences and experience levels Educate customers about product effects, consumption methods, and dosage guidelines through engaging product demos and clear communication Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly on shelves to maximize sales opportunities Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume Conduct product demos when appropriate, sharing detailed information about new or featured items to educate customers effectively Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves regularly, recording stock movements, and assisting with inventory audits Uphold phone etiquette standards when handling inquiries or taking orders remotely, ensuring professional and friendly interactions at all times Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience, preferably within a grocery store or similar retail environment Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions accurately Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities that support team collaboration and customer service excellence Knowledge of cannabis products, industry regulations, and responsible consumption practices is preferred but not required—training will be provided Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, setting up displays, and standing for extended periods Excellent phone etiquette skills for remote inquiries or customer follow-up calls Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where customer satisfaction is our top priority!
