Comfortable working with a variety of hand and power tools. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during your shift. Strong comfort level with basic computer navigation for inventory lookups. Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays as our community needs us then. Familiarity with home improvement supplies or hardware products is helpful but not mandatory. Responsibilities Greet every neighbor who walks through our doors with a friendly smile and a helpful attitude. Listen closely to our customers' home project goals to help them find the exact supplies they need to succeed. Maintain clean and well-stocked aisles so our customers can find what they are looking for without frustration. Operate our point-of-sale system to process transactions quickly and accurately. Use our store resources to answer specific questions about painting, plumbing, or lawn care. Work closely with your fellow associates to keep our store running smoothly and maintain a positive atmosphere.
