The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in promoting our specialty food offerings, ensuring food safety, cleanliness, accepting deliveries and assisting at tasting events throughout the year . Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their shopping. Assist in customer orders for hand cut cheese, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and retail areas. Handle food items safely and efficiently, following all food handling guidelines. Follow state laws and guidlines for selling alcohol. Support catering operations by preparing and packaging food items as needed for cafe and doordash orders. Provide product knowledge to customers, answering any questions regarding items and ingredients. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale. Experience Previous experience in retail environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting. A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, attention to detail and cleanliness in the kitchen.
