About the Role At The UPS Store, you'll do much more than ship packages. As a Retail Sales & Business Solutions Associate, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their needs and recommending the right shipping, printing, mailing, and business services. This role combines customer service, consultative sales, technology, and operations. Every day you'll help individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and small businesses solve problems using a variety of products and services while delivering an exceptional customer experience. What You'll Do Welcome customers and identify their needs through friendly, consultative conversations. Recommend the most appropriate shipping, printing, mailbox, packaging, and business solutions based on customer requirements, timelines, and budget. Educate customers on available products, services, promotions, and value-added options to help them make informed decisions. Prepare domestic and international shipments using carrier systems while ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping requirements. Operate modern point-of-sale, shipping, print production, and business software systems. Process customer orders accurately from quote through completion while maintaining high attention to detail. Produce high-quality print and finishing projects using digital print equipment and finishing tools. Assist customers with document preparation, scanning, copying, faxing, shredding, laminating, and other office services. Handle Amazon, Happy Returns, and other consolidated return services efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service. Package items professionally to ensure safe transportation. Resolve customer questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions that create a positive customer experience. Build lasting relationships with repeat customers and local businesses through exceptional service and product knowledge. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment. Support inventory management, merchandising, and daily store operations.
