full-time Position summary The Budtender is the face of American Made Cannabis on the sales floor, responsible for guiding customers through product selection, delivering knowledgeable and welcoming service, and ensuring every transaction is accurate and compliant with Minnesota regulations. Key responsibilities Greet and assist customers, providing informed, judgment-free product guidance Maintain working knowledge of product categories, effects, and inventory Verify customer age and identification for every transaction (21+) Accurately process sales and handle cash/point-of-sale operations Follow all state, local, and company compliance and safety procedures Stock, label, and merchandise products; keep the retail floor clean and organized Support inventory counts and loss-prevention practices Contribute to a positive, team-oriented store environment Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and customer-service skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible retail schedule (evenings/weekends) Ability to pass a background check per state requirements Prior retail, hospitality, or cannabis experience preferred but not required - training provided Physical requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems
