SCREEN PRINTING INK MIXER & FORMULATOR JOB POSTING
Technomark has a great position for a full-time first shift Screen Printing Ink Mixer & Formulator who has excellent judgement of color and who is detail-oriented, efficient, reliable and dependable. Use your extensive knowledge of inks to develop color formulas and mix screen printing ink for production according to established company procedures and customer requirements.

$20-$22
Hours:
5:00 AM - 1:30 PM with occasional overtime
Location:
Minnetonka, MN Essential Job Functions:
Mix standard and matched color ink, sample ink batches, print swatches, and perform color checks per color specifications. Maintain inventory and order all necessary raw materials and supplies. Estimate quantity of ink to be mixed. Perform vendor quality checks on incoming ink. Maintain electronic files, databases and color formulas. Calibrate, operate and maintain the Datacolor Spectrophotometer Assist R/D Engineering with projects and customer requests. Monitor Electroluminescent Lamp production. Using JobBoss and travelers, properly record all activity of operations including time, quantity good, quantity bad and the reason for the bad parts.
Essential Job Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; two year Technical degree in related field preferred.
Experience:
2-3 years color matching experience in screen printing, digital imaging, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills:
Excellent math skills. Ability to resolve complex issues. Extensive knowledge of inks and related chemicals. Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal. Skills in laboratory work, computer, and measurement equipment helpful. Must have an excellent judgment of color.
Physical Requirements:
Performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
