Upsell products by highlighting features, promotions, or complementary items to maximize sales opportunities. Stock shelves accurately, ensure proper merchandising standards, and maintain an organized store layout to enhance product visibility. Maintain store cleanliness and organization by stocking shelves regularly and ensuring all products are properly labeled and displayed. Follow all phone etiquette protocols when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries. Support inventory management through stock checks, product replenishment, and participating in stock audits as needed. Demonstrate proficiency with basic math for cash register operations and retail math calculations to ensure accurate transactions. Engage in supervising experience by assisting with training new team members or guiding less experienced staff during shifts when required. Requirements Previous retail experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or beverage retail environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively and provide clear product information. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs more effectively. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail sales transactions, and cash handling procedures is highly desirable. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking practices. Excellent phone etiquette skills for professional customer interactions over the phone or online inquiries. Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team.
