Job Description

Some of the strongest sales skills are built long before someone ever has "sales" in their job title. KC Management Standards is a growing team that helps nationally recognized brands connect with new customers while giving motivated people the opportunity to turn everyday communication skills into professional experience. For a full-time Sales Team Member, experience behind a register, serving tables, making drinks, working a busy retail floor, or helping customers can be an excellent starting point. You'll represent AT&T Business in person with local businesses throughout Kansas City, learning how to start conversations, understand what customers need, introduce relevant services, and support sales and enrollment. Responsibilities of the Sales Team Member Start approachable conversations with customers and learn about their current wireless and connectivity needs. Use the same listening and people skills that create great service experiences to build rapport with new customers. Learn AT&T Business products, services, and promotions so you can confidently answer questions. Help customers understand their options by keeping product information clear, conversational, and relevant. Recommend services based on individual needs and guide interested customers through sales and enrollment. Work alongside other Sales Team Member team members to share feedback, strengthen communication, and contribute to daily goals. Qualifications of the Sales Team Member Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking with different types of people throughout the day. Experience in restaurants, bartending, coffee shops, hospitality, retail, or customer service is especially valuable because of the transferable people skills these environments build. Strong listener who can stay attentive and communicate clearly, even in fast-moving situations. Positive, dependable, and willing to learn through coaching and hands-on experience. Comfortable working toward individual and team goals while maintaining a helpful approach with customers. Entry-level friendly; previous telecommunications, or professional sales experience is not required. A Sales Team Member doesn't need to arrive with years of industry experience to succeed. If you already know how to connect with customers, stay composed in a busy environment, and contribute to a team, you already have skills you can build on as a Sales Team Member. Apply today to turn that experience into your next professional opportunity with KC Management Standards.
