Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Retail Clerk to join our team. Duties Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately Assist customers with product inquiries and provide product demos when needed Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is well-organized and properly displayed (merchandising) Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with accuracy Upsell products to increase sales and promote special offers or new items Maintain clean and inviting store displays through effective merchandising techniques Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and organizing back stock Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Supervise or assist in supervising team members when applicable, ensuring smooth daily operations Follow phone etiquette standards when communicating with customers over the phone Requirements Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales preferred Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities are advantageous Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Knowledge of grocery store operations or merchandising techniques is beneficial Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Basic math skills for handling cash and sales calculations Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves Good organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining store presentation Strong phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone Join our team as a Retail Clerk to deliver outstanding service while gaining valuable retail experience in a fast-paced environment.
