Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Key Holder/Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted leader on the sales floor, assisting customers with their beauty and cosmetics needs while driving sales and ensuring exceptional client experiences. As a key holder, you will also support store operations, opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and maintaining a well-stocked, visually appealing retail space. Duties Greet customers warmly, offering personalized product recommendations and makeup application demonstrations to enhance their shopping experience. Assist clients with product selection, upselling relevant items to meet their needs and achieve sales targets. Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Millennium or other salon software. Support daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, stock replenishment, and merchandising. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, follow-up, and personalized service to encourage loyalty. Utilize social media management skills to promote products, special offers, and events to attract new clients. Conduct product demos and educate clients on new beauty trends or cosmetics to enhance product knowledge and boost sales performance. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service within the beauty or cosmetics industry is highly preferred. Proficiency with POS systems such as Millennium or similar salon management software. Bilingual abilities are a plus; fluency in English is required with additional languages considered an asset. Knowledge of cosmetology, makeup application techniques, and current beauty trends. Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship building abilities. Ability to handle retail math accurately for sales transactions, stock counts, and sales data analysis. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with social media platforms for marketing purposes is desirable. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
