E-Commerce:

Experience buying, selling, or listing items on platforms like eBay, Mercari, or Facebook Marketplace.

Specialized Products:

Background knowledge or experience evaluating Firearms, Tools, Electronics, or Jewelry/Precious Metals . Key Responsibilities Greet customers and assist them with buying, selling, and pawning items. Evaluate, test, and research merchandise to determine loan or purchase value. Process cash, check, and card transactions accurately using our POS system. Write pawn tickets and clearly explain loan terms, interest rates, and due dates to customers. Maintain a clean, secure, organized, and well-merchandised sales floor. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Strong basic math skills and experience handling cash. Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift up to 35 lbs unassisted (team lifts or equipment are available for heavier items like large electronics or generators). Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and provide knowledgeable assistance on store products and services Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, cash register operations, and cash handling Conduct product demos to showcase merchandise features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and assisting with inventory counts to ensure product availability Upsell complementary items or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards Handle cash drawer accurately during transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in jewelry, electronics, or similar merchandise environments Supervising experience is a plus; ability to oversee daily store operations when needed Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively Knowledge of POS systems and cash register operations is essential for seamless transactions Familiarity with retail math for balancing registers and managing cash drawers accurately Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for pricing and transaction purposes Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Experience in merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management Join us in creating an energetic shopping environment where customers feel valued and inspired!
