Syberg's is hiring! We're looking for a confident, dependable, and people-focused Security / Door Person to join our team. If you're someone who stays calm under pressure, has great people skills, and knows how to handle situations professionally, this could be a great fit for you. This isn't your typical security job. You'll be a welcoming face for our guests while helping keep our restaurant, team, and guests safe. You'll work closely with management to monitor the building, prevent problems, and help create a fun and safe environment. What You'll Do Welcome and greet guests as they arrive Check IDs and ensure guests meet age requirements Monitor guest behavior and identify potential problems early Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees De-escalate conflicts professionally and calmly Refuse entry to intoxicated or unsafe guests Monitor entrances, patios, parking areas, and assigned positions Help manage guest flow and capacity during busy periods Work closely with management and staff to address guest concerns Assist guests with transportation options when needed Contact management, police, or emergency services when appropriate Help ensure employees get safely to their vehicles at the end of the night Assist with closing and securing the restaurant Help with cleaning, trash, and other tasks as needed Represent Syberg's with a professional appearance and positive attitude What Makes You a Great Fit You're 21+ You're dependable and show up ready to work You're comfortable interacting with all types of people You can stay calm when things get stressful You have good judgment and know when to involve management You're confident without being confrontational You communicate clearly and professionally You're observant and pay attention to what's happening around you You take pride in helping people and keeping others safe Previous security, door, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus This Job Is for You If… You're the person who can walk into a busy environment and know what's happening without needing to be told. You can spot a potential problem before it becomes a bigger one, talk to people respectfully, and keep your cool when situations get challenging. You don't need to be the biggest or toughest person in the room. You need to be confident, level-headed, observant, and good with people. You'll serve as an important "eyes and ears" for management , helping protect our guests, our team, and our restaurant. Schedule Primarily evening and weekend shifts.
Friday & Saturday:
