Retail Sales Associate

Join our team as an Adcock Pool & Spa Retail Sales Associate and become the go-to expert for customers looking to maintain and enjoy their pools and spas during the summer. This seasonal role combines customer service, sales, and hands-on water testing to help customers keep their water clean, balanced, and safe. You'll assist with product selection, provide water care guidance, and create a welcoming, knowledgeable in-store experience. This is a great seasonal opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, learning new skills, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service Perform water testing for pool and spa customers and clearly explain results Recommend chemicals, equipment, and maintenance solutions based on water test results Assist customers with product selection, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities Operate POS (Point of Sale) system for transactions, cash handling, and receipts Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and displays Stock shelves, manage backstock, and assist with inventory counts Answer phone calls and assist customers with questions regarding pool and spa care Support overall store operations and maintain a positive shopping environment Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required Willingness to learn pool and spa water chemistry and product knowledge Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Ability to perform basic math for transactions and chemical measurements Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Experience with POS systems and cash handling is a plus Ability to multitask and stay organized Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Pay:

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
