General Manager About the Opportunity Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Sales Associate for a growing manufacturing company in Missoula. This position plays a key role in supporting territory growth by partnering closely with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) on customer service, quoting, order processing, and business development activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and motivated to build strong client relationships while supporting sales initiatives from initial inquiry through completed order. Position Summary The Sales Associate serves as an extension of the Regional Sales Manager, providing sales and administrative support to help grow revenue within an assigned territory. This position works closely with customers, sales leadership, engineering, and production teams to ensure outstanding service, accurate order processing, and successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Sales Support & Quoting Prepare and process customer quotes. Gather material pricing and lead-time information as needed. Collaborate with sales leadership on pricing strategies. Maintain quote documentation and customer records. Follow up on open quotes and track customer activity. Coordinate with engineering on tooling and special project quotations. Order Management Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Verify pricing, product specifications, drawings, and part information. Assist with project coordination from order placement through production. Work closely with customers and internal departments to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction. Business Development Conduct outbound calls and outreach to prospective customers. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems. Support customer retention efforts and reactivate dormant accounts. Assist with marketing and sales initiatives designed to increase territory growth. Customer Relations Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service. Host virtual meetings and facility tours as needed. Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events. Develop product knowledge to effectively support customer needs. Administrative Support Track sales activity, customer interactions, and territory performance. Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation. Prepare reports and assist with sales-related projects. Support continuous improvement efforts within the sales process. Qualifications Required High School Diploma orGED. 1-3
years of experience in sales, customer service, manufacturing, business development, or a related field. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, customer-focused attitude. Preferred Experience in manufacturing, industrial sales, or technical sales support. Knowledge of mechanical systems or manufacturing processes. Experience with ERP or CRM software. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
