Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Bilingual Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to diverse customers, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring an engaging shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both English and another language, along with a solid background in retail sales and customer service. Your ability to handle transactions accurately and promote products effectively will contribute to the overall success of our store. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs in a bilingual capacity Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately Assist with inventory management including stocking and organizing merchandise Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Supervise or assist with supervising team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment Use strong phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via other channels Apply basic math and retail math skills for transactions, pricing, and inventory counts Requirements Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is essential Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and merchandising techniques Demonstrated supervising experience is a plus Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette Ability to perform upselling techniques effectively while maintaining a focus on customer needs Basic math skills necessary for transactions and inventory management Experience with product demos, stock management, and retail math is advantageous Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele

Pay:

$15.00 - $25.26 per hour
