Job Description

QA Engineer Charlotte, NC 6 Months Contract Role Overview QA Engineer to support end-to-end testing, test planning, and cross-team coordination across the phases of an ERP migration program, including in-person participation during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in the Charlotte, NC area. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end (E2E) test planning and execution across the ERP migration lifecycle (design, build, SIT, UAT, cutover, hypercare). Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and data migration/reconciliation testing. Coordinate testing activities across business, functional, and technical teams throughout each project stage. Lead and support in-person UAT sessions in the Charlotte, NC area, including business user coordination, defect triage, and sign-off support. Track, triage, and manage defects through resolution; report on test progress, coverage, and quality risk to project leadership. Validate supply chain business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, warehouse/distribution, planning) through the migration to ensure functional parity and data integrity. Partner with functional consultants and technical teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements. Required Qualifications QA experience (7+ years) with a strong track record on ERP implementation or migration projects. Strong supply chain domain knowledge order management, inventory, procurement, warehouse/distribution, and/or planning processes. Hands-on experience with E2E test planning, execution, and coordination across multiple project phases. Demonstrated experience leading or heavily supporting UAT phases, including business stakeholder coordination. Must be based onshore (US) and able to work in person in the Charlotte, NC area during UAT. Strong communication and coordination skills; comfortable working across business and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with any major ERP platform (e.g., Infor M3, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) specific platform experience is a plus but not required. Experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA/Xray, qTest) and data migration/reconciliation testing. Prior experience in consumer goods, retail, or brands with complex distribution networks.
