Kitchen Associate / Line Cook Lil Bean Cafe — Jacksonville, NC Full-Time | Starting at $9.25/hour + tips Lil Bean Cafe is looking for an energetic, dependable Kitchen Associate / Line Cook to join our fast-paced café team. We serve American breakfast and lunch favorites with a Hispanic twist, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in preparing great food, keeping a clean kitchen, and helping create a welcoming experience for every guest. What you'll do Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items Complete vegetable prep and other food-preparation tasks Safely operate kitchen equipment, including a griddle, frying pans, and panini press Maintain clean, organized workstations and kitchen areas Wash dishes and support general kitchen cleaning Stock, rotate, and organize kitchen supplies and ingredients Deliver finished food to customers as needed Work closely with the shift supervisor, store manager, and café team during busy service periods What we're looking for Must be at least 18 years old Kitchen or café experience is preferred, but we will train the right person Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Familiar with, or willing to learn, vegetable prep and basic hot-line cooking Able to stand for the full shift, work comfortably in a small kitchen space, and handle a warm environment during busy periods Able to lift up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required Weekend availability is required; some holiday availability is also needed ServSafe certification is preferred Schedule This is a full-time role with 7-8 hour shifts.

Weekly schedules will vary between:
