Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Sales Associate at our furniture and appliance outlet and become the vital link between our customers and the exceptional products we offer. In this role, you will engage with customers in a retail environment, answering questions customers have about products, complete sales transactions, assist with maintenance around the store, scheduling deliveries, giving customers pick up for their merchandise. Providing outstanding customer service while assisting customers with their retail needs. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help drive sales, ensure accurate cash handling, and promote a positive shopping experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend appropriate products Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash drawers, balancing registers, and managing cash management tasks Assist customers with retail sales, including product inquiries and upselling opportunities to maximize sales performance Maintain precise data entry records using financial software and perform retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a welcoming environment Requirements Prior experience in retail sales or furniture retail sales preferred but not required. Ability to work 10:00am-7:00pm Weekend availability Experience with data entry, cash drawer handling, and cash management systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Willing to learn and grow as the store expands Familiarity with retail lending processes, loan collections, or financial software is advantageous but not essential
