STORE ASSOCIATE

Starting Pay:

$13/hour The ideal candidate can work up 40 hours a week, weekends and nights. This job requires open availability.

JOB SUMMARY

The store associate performs a variety of duties to carry out retail store operations to ensure customer satisfaction and completes tasks assigned by the Store Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strong customer service and communication skills Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain visual standards, including folding, hanging, and merchandising apparel Restock merchandise and assist with inventory counts Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and stock areas clean and organized Assist shoppers with clothing selection, sizing, fit, and styling This is an overview of duties and responsibilities; you may be asked to perform additional tasks or duties by your supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers, vendors, management, and co-workers Customer service skills and strong level of professionalism at work Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be on time and ready to work each scheduled shift

Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 25 pounds frequently to stock merchandise Ability to stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift Ability to bend and kneel, reach, balance, and climb ladders to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store
