The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about our products, and assist in creating a welcoming shopping environment. This role requires strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for the industry. Bilingual abilities and supervisory experience are a plus. The Budtender will handle sales transactions, product demonstrations, and merchandising efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs and preferences Provide product demos and educate customers on product features and benefits Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and stock rotation Ensure compliance with all store policies, including phone etiquette and customer interaction protocols Supervise or assist with supervising staff when applicable, ensuring smooth store operations Conduct product demos to promote new or featured items Support overall store cleanliness and organization Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery or similar retail environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail math principles Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette Ability to upsell products tactfully to enhance customer experience and sales performance Supervising experience is a plus but not required Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse customer base Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous This position offers an engaging work environment where your retail expertise can shine while helping customers find the best products for their needs.
