$16 per hour, PLUS commission and bonus opportunities Job Summary Bruce Furniture is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Hybrid Office Associate & Sales Professional for our North Platte location. This position combines two important roles: office support on Monday and Tuesday, and furniture, mattress, and flooring sales on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable with paperwork and computer systems, and also enjoys working directly with customers on the sales floor. Qualifications- Hybrid Office Associate & Sales ProfessionalRequired Previous office, retail sales, customer service, or administrative experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork, tickets, purchase orders, and customer information Comfortable using computers, order-entry systems, email, and basic office technology Strong communication and listening skills Ability to provide friendly, helpful service to customers in person and over the phone Dependable, organized, and able to follow established processes Ability to switch between administrative work and customer-facing sales responsibilities Willingness to work Saturdays Preferred Experience in furniture, mattress, flooring, appliance, or big-ticket retail sales Experience with purchase orders, receiving, freight check-in, inventory paperwork, or sales tickets Familiarity with special orders, vendor acknowledgments, customer deposits, delivery paperwork, or service follow-up Ability to learn product details across furniture, mattresses, and flooring Responsibilities•Hybrid Office Associate & Sales ProfessionalOffice Responsibilities•Monday and Tuesday Enter new sales tickets accurately and in a timely manner Close out delivered tickets after customer deliveries are completed Enter Montage protection plan information Enter acknowledgments and purchase orders Check in freight and complete receiving tickets Assist with paperwork, order tracking, and internal communication Support the office, sales, warehouse, delivery, and management teams with accurate information Help ensure customer orders move smoothly from sale to delivery Sales Responsibilities•Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday Greet customers and create a welcoming in-store experience Ask good questions to understand customer needs, style preferences, budget, and timeline Recommend furniture, mattresses, flooring, and related products that fit each customer's home Explain product features, pricing, protection plans, financing options, delivery details, and special-order timelines Create accurate quotes, sales orders, and customer follow-ups Maintain product knowledge across furniture, mattresses, flooring, promotions, and vendor programs Follow up with customers to answer questions, close sales, and support repeat business Keep showroom areas clean, organized, and ready for customers Work with the team to provide an easy, frustration-free experience from purchase through delivery or installation Benefits & Perks Competitive pay with sales or bonus opportunities as applicable Employee discounts on furniture, mattresses, flooring, and home products Consistent full-time schedule with Thursdays off Supportive, family-owned business environment Product training and ongoing sales development Opportunity to learn both office operations and sales Paid time off for eligible employees A trusted local brand with strong community relationships About Bruce Furniture Are you someone that has: A great natural, happy enthusiasm?
