Job Description
Overview Assist guests through process of renting equipment while providing excellent customer service in an intense, rapid paced job with continual guest contact. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employees' job is to get and keep guests. Responsibilities Help guests pick out appropriate size skis/snowboard. Fit boots and adjust bindings to proper settings for comfort and safety. Select correct size ski poles. Verify all signatures and initials on liability release form. Tuning and waxing of skis and snowboards. Binding test per ASTM standards.
Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions. Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor. May be required to work in Food and Beverage during the middle of the day. Must be cross-trained in all Rental Shop positions. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Retail experience a plus.
