Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience where every customer feels cared for, appreciated, and excited about their purchase.
• Build a strong knowledge of our furniture and services so you can confidently guide customers and highlight the features that make each piece special
• Use basic retail math skills to provide clear, accurate pricing while keeping the checkout process simple and stress-free.
• Build lasting relationships by listening to customers' needs and guiding them toward the perfect solutions—while working to achieve sales goals.
• Keep our showroom looking its best, reflecting the care and pride we put into our family business.
• Create lasting relationships that turn first-time shoppers into lifelong customers.
• Contribute to a supportive team culture where everyone works together to deliver great results and a friendly shopping experience. Skills & Qualities We Value
• Comfortable working in a commission, performance based environment.
• A background in sales with a history of meeting—and celebrating—sales goals. Specific furniture sales experience is not required. We are happy to work with and train the right person!
• Strong communication and people skills, with the ability to connect easily and build trust with customers.
• Comfort with basic math and retail transactions to ensure accuracy at the register.
• The ability to share product knowledge in a clear and helpful way, including demonstrating features and benefits.
• A thoughtful and creative approach to suggesting additional pieces that enhance a customer's home.
• Flexibility and adaptability to support customers' needs and manage multiple tasks with ease.
